Obituary

Aimee Barnett dies at age 96 due to complications affiliated with her brain cancer. She was a 96 year old woman who led a very victorious life. She was viewed as a hero all around the world because of her mysterious discovery of the cure for AIDS. She was a devoted mother to 12 children and had been married to her husband since the age of 19. While Mrs. Barnett led a long a healthy life, her wonderful discovery and her own battles of life will never be forgotten. As a survivor of abuse from her father in her early childhood, and an overcomer or depression in her mid-teens, Mrs. Barnett has truly been a miraculous person amongst this world. Her discoveries, contributions, and battles will never be forgotten. Funeral services have been arranged at Owen Funeral Home on Dixie Highway in Louisville on Friday the 13th.
